Caffè Corsini is a historic company from Arezzo, which has been producing every type of product related to the world of coffee since 1950. Caffè Corsini was the first coffee with the wording ”DOC” in Italy and the first to certify its origin on the packaging. Another record, this time on the ”green” front, is being the first company in Italy to completely eliminate the release of fine dust into the atmosphere.

For over 70 years, Caffè Corsini has not only brought a smile to Italians and citizens around the world during coffee breaks, but has also continually positioned itself one step above its competitors.

Replatforming on Shopify Advanced and SOH Integration

Project Brief

Caffè Corsini turned to Sintra for the restructuring with Shopify Advanced of all the company’s owned sites, structured first with a custom platform and managed externally by an agency, in order to have internal management and therefore easier management. We then continued with the integration with our SOH (Sintra Omnichannel Hub), which centralized all operations regarding product records and stock management.

WHAT WE DID

Sintra has created a solid and fluid digital architecture

Building the site with Shopify Advanced and integrating with SOH allowed for the correct management of orders and product data, managing them directly with a single tool connected to their management system, reducing the company effort. Furthermore, all product-related changes are made with SOH and automatically synchronized with the Shopify frontend. Regarding eCommerce tracking, its implementation allowed them to keep an eye on the progress of their online business in real time.

A challenging project: restructure ecommerce on Shopify advanced

The intent expressed by the client was to internalize the management of the eCommerce in order to have all the operations under control and streamline the management of the platform.

The project presented interesting elements to take into consideration, in particular:

 

  • Restructure the custom platform on Shopify Advanced
