Franco Cosimo Panini is the one who brought a myth to Italy, namely, the ”Panini” football album, all Italian children but also the greatest collectors of stickers have this collection as a myth. In 1989, however, having sold the exclusive rights to football stickers, Franco Cosimo Panini decides to open his own publishing house in Modena, the historic headquarters of the company, to which he also dedicates the logo of the publishing house, in fact, we find in the company image the typographic brand of the first printer of Modena, Domenico Rococciolo. In these years the new publishing house has started very important projects destined to leave a mark in history, such as the creation of the Comix diaries, now a classic for students.
Replatforming on Shopify Advanced and SOH
Project Brief
The publishing house turned to Sintra for an eCommerce replatforming, which we restructured with Shopify Advanced, created after a careful UX analysis to generate User Friendly flows and integrating everything with AX, the Modena-based company’s ERP.
WHAT WE DID
Sintra has created a solid and user-friendly digital architecture
Sintra, Shopify Plus Partner, after a precise UX analysis, for the structuring of a user-friendly eCommerce, intervened by migrating the online shop to Shopify Advanced, integrating it with Panini’s ERP, in order to have data always updated in real time both on the company’s internal management system and on the eCommerce, allowing total control of the platform and structuring personalized marketing campaigns based on user behavior.
A challenging project: migration from Magento ecommerce to Shopify Advanced ecommerce
The intent expressed by the client was to have a more consistent online presence, migrating from Magento to Shopify, in order to streamline management processes.
The project presented interesting elements to take into consideration, in particular:
- Restructure Magento Platform on Shopify Advanced
- Centralize all types of data by integrating their ERP with Shopify, so as to coordinate actions in real time with constantly updated data
- Create a digital structure that monitors customer actions on the site in order to design highly personalized marketing campaigns
