Pimcore to revolutionize data management

Project Brief

Over the years, Kemon had accumulated a large amount of data, especially graphics, and was having difficulty managing and organizing them. To solve the problem, they turned to Sintra, which, using Pimcore, created architectures to better manage the company’s digital assets, reducing error margins and therefore execution times.

WHAT WE DID

Organized management of company assets and replatforming of the distributor and reseller area

To meet the client’s needs, the Sintra team created an architecture with Pimcore that allowed a correct and organized coordination of digital corporate assets (product catalog, training content, commercial contracts…), shaping a single and secure platform for the company and its stakeholders with traceable and compartmentalized access.

A challenging project: replatforming distributor area on Pimcore

The solution proposed by Sintra involved replatforming the distributors area on Pimcore and configuring the DAM platform to control and order digital assets. The project presented interesting elements to take into consideration, in particular:

  • Managing a complex system with different digital assets and different uses
  • The need for streamlining flows and processes
  • The need to make the system secure through traceable and diversified accesses depending on the work function
  • High-performance asset management that can integrate with current and future corporate touchpoints

The answer to Kemon’s needs

01.

System functional analysis of the data/asset model

The site was optimized by redesigning the navigation flows and defining the main touchpoints after analyzing user behavior. The standard Shopify template was then customized to meet the client’s needs.

02.

Eliminate asset-related criticalities

Pimcore has eliminated issues and obstacles such as duplication, difficulty in finding information, difficulty in tracking and determining the use of assets, creating a highly secure platform.

03.

Kemon to Be

Modeling digital asset assets to enable their presence across multiple current and future business touchpoints.

04.

Post delivery support

The project includes a post-delivery support service in terms of training and operational support for the team around Kemon.
