Sector and history of Rilastil
Rilastil was born from an idea by Domenico Ganassini, a passionate chemical researcher who first founded the research and development center, Istituto Ganassini, which still monitors the production of Rilastil cosmetics. After more than 70 years of activity, the brand is a giant of Italian beauty, always an emblem of “Made in Italy” in the cosmetics sector. Rilastil today also boasts international offices such as the one in Barcelona, but has not diverted attention from its prestigious know-how, still investing a large part of its profits in research aimed at improving its products.
Replatforming on Shopify Advanced and SOH
Project Brief
Rilastil turned to Sintra to expand its online business, thus migrating from a WordPress e-commerce to Shopify e-commerce, to obtain a more fluid and intuitive management.

WHAT WE DID
Sintra has replatformed their site with Shopify
Rilastil turned to Sintra, Shopify Plus Partner, for the migration of their old eCommerce to Shopify, so, after a careful UX analysis, Rilastil can enjoy a highly performing online shop capable of providing excellent navigation for users and a large amount of data updated in real time.

A challenging project: migration from WordPress platform to Shopify
The intent expressed by the client was to have a more consistent online presence, migrating from a WordPress e-commerce to a Shopify e-commerce, in order to streamline management processes and have a more structured online presence.
The project presented interesting elements to take into consideration, in particular:
- Restructure WordPress Platform on Shopify
- Perform a careful and in-depth UX analysis, to create an intuitive and engaging digital journey for users
