Who is Samplesound?

Sample Sound is an Abruzzese startup that helps artists and producers create music quickly by selling audio products (sample packs and software) through a WebApp.

Project Brief

The project was created to meet the needs of artists and producers who want to build their own music using audio products sold by Sample Sound.

The primary goal of the application is to provide customers with a seamless and intuitive journey to search for audio pieces within the WebApp in the simplest and most relevant way possible (based on their needs), download them, and start using them to create their music.

The integration with Shopify allows users to acquire audio plugins within the app using credits.

WHAT WE DID

Development of the application after a thorough UX and UI analysis, with integration into Shopify.

After an analysis to define the Architectural Business Requirements for designing an effective UI and UX, a draft of the front end of the application was first created on Figma. It was then developed using Angular and Typescript, followed by the implementation of SSO (Single Sign-On) and integration with Shopify.

A challenging project: creation of a custom application and subsequent integration with Shopify.

Sample Sound needed to create a WebApp from scratch to help composers and music producers express their potential through the purchase of pre-configured audio plugins. The solution proposed by Sintra began with a project analysis to define all the essential requirements for the platform. This was followed by the creation of a prototype on FIGMA that would meet the subsequent development process.

The project presents particularly challenging elements, especially:

The integration between Shopify and the WebApp, specifically created to allow composers/musicians to register on Shopify and, through APIs, seamlessly access the application where they can purchase and download the Samples (directly from the WebApp).
Development of the SSO (Single Sign-On) method, a technology that allows users to authenticate once to access the various applications or services of the client.
Advanced search functions and tags for semi-automatic entries. The software includes advanced search features to allow users to quickly find the desired samples.

UX and UI Analysis

Conduct a thorough UX and UI analysis to meet the Architectural Business Requirements, then model a preview of the application’s user interface on Figma.

Single Sign-On and Tags were implemented to facilitate both access to the application and to speed up the search for the audio plugins needed by customers.

Integration of the Web App with Shopify

We integrated the Web App with Shopify to authenticate customers on Shopify and then, through APIs, allow them to immediately access the application to proceed with searching for and purchasing audio plugins.
