Who is Skin First?

Skin First was born in 2018 from the idea of ​​Dr. Maria Pia Priore, a graduate of COSMAST, the oldest faculty of cosmetics in Europe and the most prestigious in Italy, who after creating an Instagram channel where she reviews, recommends products and treatments for body care, finding a lot of participation and trust from her community, decided to start the Skin First project, for the formulation of products deriving exclusively from very accurate scientific studies that allows the brand to always provide the best to its customers, guaranteeing functional and optimal substances for body care, using exclusively hypoallergenic materials.

A High-Performance Shopify eCommerce and Omnichannel Flows to Handle Rapid Brand Growth

Project Brief

Skin First already had a Shopify plus ecommerce, but needed to have a centralized and automated control and flow of data, related to personal data, orders and returns. Sintra has therefore proposed the integration of the ecommerce with SOH (Sintra Omnichannel Hub), which simplifies and speeds up every type of information, streamlining and reducing the effort of company employees.

WHAT WE DID

Modular structure to conveniently manage all data coming from e-commerce

Following the needs expressed by the customer regarding the centralization of product data and the creation of a flow for returns, we proceeded with the integration of SOH to Skin First’s Shopify Plus ecommerce, then the flow relating to returns was created and finally an implementation of performance tracking was established, to monitor the statistics of the online business and make the right strategic decisions.

A challenging project: integrating SOH with the client’s Shopify Plus ecommerce

In this project Sintra has integrated SOH, our optimal middleware for centralization and total control over data relating to product records, orders and returns.

The project presented particularly interesting and challenging actions such as:

  • Implementation of SOH, for sending complete orders for shipping to the logistics system and creation of a return flow, previously absent
  • Automated product data synchronization, in fact all changes to the product data are made on SOH and automatically synchronized with the Shopify frontend
  • Correct implementation of e-Commerce tracking and performance marketing. Thanks to this activity, the customer can monitor the progress of the online business and make strategic decisions.
